Pre-launch. The NINJAR mobile game is in development and not yet publicly released. This policy will be updated before the game launches.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

This policy explains what information the NINJAR mobile game (the “App”) and the website at ninjar.app (the “Website”) handle, why, and the choices you have.

The App and the Website are provided by Yagil Cohen, an individual developer (“we”, “us”). Contact details are in section 13. We are the controller of the information described in this policy, except where it says a third party, such as Google or Apple, acts independently.

Current status

The NINJAR App is in development and is not yet available on the App Store or Google Play. Today, only the Website is public (see section 7).

The sections about the App describe how it will handle information when it is publicly released. Advertising, the consent and tracking choices, and the Remove Ads purchase are planned for that release and are not yet operational. Before the App is released, we will review this policy and update the effective date.

If you have been given access to a pre-release test build of the App, it may show Google test ads. To do this, it communicates with Google’s advertising services, which may process information such as your IP address and device information, as described in section 2. Test builds do not yet include the consent and tracking choices described in sections 3 and 4.

Summary

1. Information stored on your device

To make the game work, the App saves the following on your device only. It is not sent to us.

This information stays on your device until you delete the App. On Android, the App opts out of Android’s automatic app-data backup. On iOS, it may be included in your device backups, depending on your device settings.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

When the App is released, unless you have bought Remove Ads, it will show a banner ad while you play and, at some transitions between levels, a full-screen ad. These ads will be provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google.

When the App requests an ad, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the App may collect and process information from your device, such as:

Google uses this information to deliver, measure and, where you have allowed it, personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. Google’s use of this information is governed by Google’s own policies: see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Depending on your choices and your region, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. Non-personalised ads still use some information, such as your approximate location and device information, to work.

The only advertising software in the App is the Google Mobile Ads SDK. The App does not include software from other ad networks. Information Google shares with its own advertising partners is described in Google’s policies linked above.

3. Your consent choices (Google UMP)

Planned for the public release: where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App will ask for your consent before ads are requested, using Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). The App will not request ads before the applicable consent and privacy conditions allow it.

Your choices will be stored on your device by the UMP. When privacy options are required in your region, you will be able to change your choices at any time from the App’s Settings.

Refusing consent will not stop you from playing or from buying Remove Ads.

4. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

Planned for the public release: on iPhone and iPad, the App will ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency before the advertising identifier (IDFA) can be used. If you do not allow it, the IDFA is not available to the App or to Google, and you will still see ads, which may be less relevant. You can change this at any time in your device’s Settings under Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Allowing tracking on iOS does not replace the consent described in section 3; both apply where required.

5. Remove Ads purchase

Planned for the public release: Remove Ads will be a one-time in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing on Android and by Apple’s App Store (StoreKit) on iOS, under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not receive your name, email address or payment card details.

To unlock Remove Ads, the App receives from the store on your device the status of the purchase and information needed to confirm it, such as the product and a purchase or transaction record. This check happens on your device; we do not run a server that receives your purchase information. To restore a purchase, use “Restore Purchases” in the App’s Settings, which asks the store again.

Once you own Remove Ads, the App makes no ad requests.

6. Sharing from the game

One feature of the game lets you share a short text using your device’s own share sheet. What you share, and with whom, is up to you. The App does not learn whether you shared, or where.

7. The Website

The Website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information, such as your IP address and browser details, to deliver pages and protect the service. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

8. Legal bases (EEA and UK)

For the Website, the technical information processed by our hosting provider is used to deliver the Website and keep it secure, which is in our legitimate interests. You can object to this processing (see section 11).

Before the App is publicly released, we will add the legal bases for the App’s processing, including advertising and the Remove Ads purchase, to this policy. Where the law requires consent, for example to store or access information on your device for advertising, the App will ask for it, as described in section 3.

Google, Apple and Cloudflare determine their own legal bases for the processing they carry out as independent controllers, as described in their privacy policies.

9. Children

NINJAR is a general-audience word puzzle game. Its current puzzles are primarily designed for teenagers and adults. The game does not currently offer content specifically directed at children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not ask for or verify your age.

10. International transfers

Google, Apple and Cloudflare may process information in countries other than yours, including the United States, under the safeguards described in their own privacy policies.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority.

Because we do not run servers for the App and do not hold accounts, we usually hold no personal information about you that we could look up. You can still contact us with any question or request.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
